Withdrawal of Reference


Step 1.     Select Adversary

Step 2.     Select Motions.  

Step 3.     Enter the correct case number.  Click Next.  Note:  Ensure that the case name and number match the document you are filing.

Step 4.     Select Withdrawal of Reference.  Click Next.

Step 5.     Check the box next to "Joint filing with other attorney(s)," if applicable. Click Next.

Step 6.     Select the party on whose behalf you are filing.  Click Next.  If the party is not listed, click Add/Create Party .   

Step 8.     Check the box to associate yourself with representing the party, if applicable.  Click Next.

Step 9.     Browse, verify and attach ( PDF file). Click the “Yes” radio button if uploading an attachment.  Click Next.  If there are no attachments, skip to step 11.

Step 10.   Attach supporting documents, if applicable.  Click Next.

Step 11.   Select either "Yes" or "No" as to whether you are exempt from paying filing fees?    Click Next.

Step 12.   Check the box to refer to an existing event(s).  Click Next.

Step 13.   Select the event to which the document relates.  

Step 14.   Check the box next to the related event.  Click Next.

Step 15.   Add the exact pleading title in the docket text box (if differs from docket text). Click Next.

Step 16.   Confirm data on final docket text screen.  Submitting this screen commits the transaction .  You will have no further opportunity to modify the
                 submission if you continue.  Click Next.
