Changes in Bankruptcy Rules and Forms and Amended General Order No. 24 Effective December 1, 2019

There are several upcoming changes regarding the rules and forms which will impact bankruptcy practice.  The amended rules and forms are effective December 1, 2019.  The amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure include Rules 4001(c), 6007, 9036, and 9037.  The amended forms include Official Form 122A-1 and Director’s Form 1340, Application for Payment of Unclaimed Funds.

The Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas adopted Amended General Order No. 24 – Privacy Protection For Filings Made With The Court.  The general order is effective December 1, 2019.  Click below to view the amendment.
