U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas Temporarily Suspending Original Signature Requirements Until Further Notice

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and need for social distancing, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas hereby SUSPENDS the requirement that attorneys obtain original signatures from debtors before filing documents electronically, provided that the attorney: (1) transmits the entire document to the debtor for review; (2) communicates with the debtor regarding the substance and purpose of the document; and (3) receives the debtor’s express authorization to file the document with the debtor’s electronic signature affixed to the document.  Please follow the link to the Administrative Order Temporarily Suspending Signature Requirements.
